Samuel L Jackson Guinness Highest-Grossing

Samuel L Jackson Guinness Highest-Grossing- Samuel L Jackson was named the highest grossing actor by Guinness World Records, but Entertainment Weekly initially disagreed with the figures and claimed it is in fact Alan Rickman, according to Box Office Mojo figures.
The website claims his film roles, including in Love Actually, Sweeney Todd and the Harry Potter films, have raked in a total of 5.9 billion dollars worldwide.
However the website now claims Orlando Bloom is the highest-grossing actor, following his appearances in the Pirates Of The Caribbean films and Lord Of The Rings, bringing his total to 6.5 million dollars.

The Dark Knight Rises to film at Occupy Wall Street Protests

The Dark Knight Rises to film at Occupy Wall Street protests- New Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises. According to the Los Angeles Times, the production has left LA for New York City, where it will shoot for two weeks, beginning October 29th. An anonymous source close to the film said that actors have been informed that some scenes may be shot at the movement’s headquarters of Zuccotti Park, and the paper speculates that Nolan could simply be using Occupy Wall Street as a backdrop for a scene from the original shooting script. Of course, it’s possible that the demonstration will have been evicted from the park by the time The Dark Night Rises arrives  but we have to imagine that, if the city economy stands to profit from the shoot, Mayor Bloomberg will do his best to ensure that no one gets kicked out before it’s through.

Walter Koenig Suggests Babylon 5 Return

Walter Koenig suggests Babylon 5 return- Walter Koenig has suggested that Babylon 5 could return in some form. The actor told fans at a recent Las Vegas Star Trek convention that series creator J Michael Straczynski is in talks to revive the show. "He told me that he is in negotiations to re-acquire the rights to Babylon 5 and it looks pretty good," said Koenig, who played Bester on the sci-fi drama. Koenig added that it is currently unclear what form the new Babylon 5 will take. "It could be a new series or it could be a feature film, but [Straczynski] was quite animated about it," he said. "He seemed very excited. "Warner Brothers is dealing with him in good faith. So you might see another Babylon 5 in the not too distant future." Babylon 5 originally aired on now-defunct network PTEN from 1994 to 1997 and on TNT for a final fifth season in 1998. The series also spawned six television films and short-lived spinoff series Crusade.

Starring Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig, directed by "Iron Man's" Jon Favreau, and with Steven Spielberg among its producers, this truly original film defies categorization and industry projections for its opening have varied. On RottenTomatoes the film is carrying an incredible 97% fresh rating, which is the highest out of any "Harry Potter" films. The majority of critics agree that this is the best installment and the perfect conclusion to incredible franchise.

The movie destroyed the midnight showings record on Thursday night by grossing $43.5 million. At this pace and with the help of 3D, "Deathly Hallow: Part 2" will likely become the highest-grossing installment and will also break the $1 billion mark.
